Hudgens Cries over End of "High School Musical"

After shooting her last scene for Disney's High School Musical, Vanessa Hudgens said that she began crying because she had been through "so much" in terms of her career and with the people she met on the set.

The 19-year-old, who is dating Zac Efron (who also plays her boyfriend on the show), had played Gabriella Montez in the three Disney films, beginning when she was 15. Four years later, she now has a great deal of fame, nude pictures on the Internet and intense relationships with many of her costars.

Hudgens said that it was after she saw fellow cast member Ashley Tisdale crying at the end of production on the third installment in the series (which will also become a Broadway musical), when she started to cry as well.

"It was very emotional (filming the last scene) because we've been through so much together. We've grown as actors and people and grown up in this whole High School Musical franchise," the actress told WENN. "So the last day was very emotional. Ashley started crying, I looked at her, I started crying and it was just a chain reaction. It was very sad."
