Hugh Hefner Admits Relationships Are "In Transition"

After a swirl of rumors regarding the fidelity of Hugh Hefner's favorite playmates, Hefner says he and the girls are very much together.

Though rumors have circulated throughout the blogosphere and tabloid circuit regarding the commitment of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner's three favorite Playboy bunnies, the Playboy pioneer defended his relationships to E! Online.

Hefner's main squeezes, Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, star alongside Hefner in E!'s reality series, The Girls Next Door. Rumors began flying after Madison spent an increasing amount of time with Mindfreak star Criss Angel in Las Vegas. Rumors have also circulated that Wilkinson plans to move out of the mansion and begin her own career.

"The reality is the girls and I are all together," Hefner said. He also defended his relationship with his main girlfriend, Madison.

"Holly shares my bed on a nightly basis," Hefner said, dismissing the rumors about Madison and Angel.

Hefner admitted that he sees changes on the horizon but maintained that his relationship with the girls has persevered.

"Are there going to be changes in the relationships, I'm sure there are going to be," Hefner said. "I think that in the future, the girls are going to, in time, be dating others and moving out of the mansion, and when that happens we will not be keeping it a secret."

Hefner said the rumors were inevitable, as the girls' series has made them celebrities.

The fifth season of The Girls Next Door premieres Oct. 5.
