Hulk Hogan and Estranged Wife Settle Divorce
A brief hearing ends years of feuding and court dates.
Terry Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan, and ex-wife Linda Bollea settled their divorce Tuesday after two years of court dates and feuding, reports People.com.
"The war is over," Linda Bollea told the Tampa Tribune after the hearing. "I still love him. He's the father of my children," the celebrity wrestler's ex added.
"When you're married to someone for 23 years you hope for the best. We just got torn apart," Hogan told the paper.
According to People.com in a statement released Tuesday, Hogan's rep said, "Hulk is looking forward to moving on with his life and is very hopeful that he and Linda can maintain a friendship and work together as parents to their two children."
Bollea also issued a personal statement following the brief hearing, saying, "My husband took the big step of stopping this escalating war by making the decision to put this behind us. I am grateful to him for realizing that our family can be happier and stronger by working together. He and I both love our family dearly and look forward to working together to make it stronger than it has ever been. My family means the world to me," quotes People.com.
Bollea filed for divorce in November of 2007, accusing her husband of having an affair, states E! Online.
The terms were not made public, says the Associated Press.
