Hulk Hogan in the Hospital Because of Back Pain

Wrestling icon and TV personality Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, was hospitalized Monday due to severe back pain.

According to TMZ.com, Hogan, 57, has had several surgeries on his back over the years, and was unable to get himself out of bed this morning due to back pain. His girlfriend, Jennifer McDaniel, then called 911 and an ambulance took Hogan to a local hospital in Clearwater, Florida.

Hogan later posted a video from the hospital via TwitVid.com. In the video, Hogan appears to be holding the camera above himself while laying on his back in the emergency room.

He tells everyone he isn’t “doing too good,” and that the cause of his pain is “muscle spasms.” Hogan does, however, say the pain is not related to his previous surgeries.
