Hulu to Offer NBC Premieres Before NBC

NBC has been at the forefront of network televisions' presence on the Web. But now, they will be a bigger presence on the Internet, when new episodes of five NBC shows are offered on Hulu.com a week before they air on the network.

Three of the shows are struggling, however, so it's not that big of a risk. Those shows are Lipstick Jungle, which stars Brooke Shields, Chuck and Life.

And though Chuck figures to struggle with ratings, coming off of a seven month layoff, NBC announced last week that they have picked up the show for all 22 episodes of the upcoming second season.

Another show that will be featured on Hulu.com is 30 Rock, which will return at the end of October. This also figures to need a great deal of promotion given its already small fan base.

The fifth show that will air early is the new edition of Knight Rider, which figures to need all the buzz possible.
