Hundreds Mourn the Death of David Carradine at Funeral
Hundreds of mourners arrived at the cemetery to honor actor David Carradine at his funeral today, reports the Associated Press. More than 400 actors and actresses arrived during the ceremony.
On June 4, the "Kill Bill" and "Kung Fu" star's body was found hanging in a Bangkok hotel room. Thai authorities are still investigating and a private pathologist released a statement on Thursday ruling out suicide as the possible cause of death. The Carradine family has requested the independent analysis of the autopsy after there has been conflicting news between the media and the Thai investigators regarding the death of David Carradine, reports the New York Times. They have also sought out help from the Bureau of Investigation in the inquiry.
Both services were private but actors such as Keith Carradine, Michael Madsen and "Kill Bill" co-star Lucy Lui were present, reported the Associated Press.
In numerous statements, Keith and Robert, both half-brothers of David Carradine, have sent their gratitude towards the fans and the public and have requested privacy during this difficult time.
