Hurricanes Pull Upset Versus Sooners
The Los Angeles Times reports that the 17th ranked Miami Hurrricanes defeated the 8th ranked Oklahoma Sooners in 21-20 Saturday night in Miami. Hurricanes quarterback Jacory Harris started the game poorly, throwing two interceptions, but would compensate later in the game by throwing three touchdown passes. The real star for Miami however was running back Javarris James, who rushed for a career-best 150 yards.
According to SI.com, Oklahoma is still struggling to overcome injuries to some of its top players, most notably Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Sam Bradford, who got injured week one in a loss against BYU. The passing game also is struggling without All-American tight end Jermaine Gresham.
The News-Press states that Miami faced four ranked teams to start the season, which makes their 3-1 start all the more impressive. Is the U back?
