"The Hurt Locker" Wins Big at Oscars
At Sunday's 2010 Academy Awards, The Hurt Locker was the big winner of the night, winning the coveted Oscar five times.
Its director, Kathryn Bigelow, became the first female to win the Best Directing Award. The war drama also took home the largest honor of the night, Best Picture. Its other awards were for Best Sounding Mixing, Best Film Editing, and Best Sound Editing,
Other big winners included Sandra Bullock (The Blind Side) for Best Actress in a Lead Role, Jeff Bridges (Crazy Heart) for Best Actor in a Lead Role, Mo’Nique (Precious) for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, and Christopher Waltz (Inglourious Basterds) for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
