Huskies Stun Trojans

The Washington Huskies defeated the USC Trojans 16-13.

Bloomberg reports that in one of the biggest upsets in college football history, the Washington Huskies defeated the USC Trojans 16-13. The Huskies did not win a single game in 2008, going 0-12. Last week, they broke a 13-game losing streak with a win against Idaho.

According to the Los Angeles Times, USC quarterback Aaron Corp completed 13 of 22 passes for just 110 yards, the lowest passing yardage in coach Pete Carroll's tenure at USC. Corp started in place of injured freshman quarterback Matt Barkley, who led USC to a 2-0 start.

Rotoworld states that Barkley missed the game due to a shoulder injury sustained last week. The bleak performance by Corp and the inability to convert on third down throughout the game not only cost USC a game, but may cost them a chance at the BCS National Championship.
