I Loved Him Very Much, Laments Lisa Marie

After 14 years, Elvis Presley's only daughter is finally talking about her marriage to Michael Jackson. Lisa Marie Presley married Jackson in 1994 amid much speculation. The two divorced in 1996.

According to E! News, a representative has confirmed the blog written on Presley's Myspace page was authored by Jackson's ex-wife. "I am going to say now what I have never said before because I want the truth out there for once. Our relationship was not a sham as is being reported in the press."

"It was an unusual relationship yes. . . . I do believe he loved me as much as he could love anyone and I loved him very much. I wanted to save him from the inevitable, which is what has just happened," she wrote.

The blog is full of Presley's own guilt for not being able to help Jackson. She refers to it as "my biggest failure to date."
