Ice-T Is Arrested for Expired Insurance

It seems as if rapper/actor Ice-T has gone from protecting law and order to receiving the punishment.

The New York Daily News has reported that the star was arrested near the Lincoln Tunnel early Tuesday morning.

After being pulled over for driving without a seatbelt, police discovered that Ice-T was driving his 2009 Cadillac sedan with expired auto insurance.

The rapper began arguing with the police, asking, "What the f--k, why are you guys picking on me?”

Ice-T, whose real name is Tracy Morrow, was charged at the 10th Precinct in Chelsea.

In the hours following the arrest, the rapper took to Twitter to share his feelings on the incident.

"Some punk b---h rookie cop made the arrest of his bulls--t career today arresting the Notorious Ice T for no seatbelt," the star tweeted. "He said 'I know who you are and I don't give a f--k!' That was right after I called him a punk b---h."

The rapper was released from the precinct shortly after the arrest.
