NYPD has stopped rapper Ice-T cold in his tracks.
According to the Associated Press, the rapper was arrested Tuesday morning at the corner of W. 40th St. and 11th Ave. for driving with a suspended license.
Ice-T, 52, who reportedly was on his way to taking his dog to the vet, was pulled over in his Cadillac for not wearing a seat belt. Then, the police discovered he was driving with a suspended license.
According to police sources, the Law & Order: SVU star was not cooperative. "He got nasty right away, saying, 'What the f--k, why are you guys picking on me?'" a police source said.
The NYDailyNews.com reports, Ice-T posted a message to Twitter just hours after the arrest. "Some punk b---h rookie cop made the arrest of his bulls--t career today arresting the Notorious Ice T for no seatbelt," he tweeted.
"My license in (sic) not suspended. I don't and never had a NYC license. I have a valid NJ license. It was all bullshit," the rapper also tweeted.
According to MTV.com, Ice-T was taken into custody at the 10th Precinct. He will return to make a court appearance at a later date.
