Idol Judge May Leave the Show

Noted cynic and critical judge Simon Cowell may be planning to leave the show, according to msnbc.com.

The decision stems from the fact that Cowell will be doing several shows at the same time, causing him to be on a plane more often than not.

"Most people do a show a year and I do three and they involve a lot of traveling. One may have to go," Cowell said. He also said that the one to go might have to be American Idol, because he's "got one year under contract."

Cowell also says he doesn't want to seem unappreciative and whiny but there may come a point where he won't be able to keep up with the schedule.

"It takes longer and longer to make these shows because you have to put more into them, and I am not sure we can sustain me doing three shows a year, with the record label and the TV production company," he said.
