Images of Scarlett Johansson's 'Iron Man 2' costume released
Images of Scarlett Johansson dressed up as the Black Widow, the role she will play in "Iron Man 2" have been released for the public's eyes to see.
The cover of the July 24, 2009 edition of Entertainment Weekly features Johansson decked out in her character's full costume opposite Mickey Rourke's Whiplash and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, both of whom are also dressed in their respective costumes.
According to Entertainment Weekly: "Fans of the original comic books - as well as fans of women dressed in high-tech-looking skintight black unitards - will be pleased to see that Johansson's suit, with its plunging neckline and utility bracelets, is very similar to that of her comic book counterpart."
In another image, fans can get an eyeful of Johansson's movie costume where she crouches down with arms extended and fingertips touching the ground as if she is poised to leap into action dressed in a dark jumpsuit with large bracelets akin to Spider-Man's early web-shooting cartridges on her wrists.
Johansson has also signed on to appear as Black Widow in "The Avengers," slated for a May 2012 release.
"Iron Man 2" is due out in May 2010, with Jon Favreau directing.
