The Incredibles Conquer the Box Office
The Pixar animated adventure sits confidently at number one its opening weekend.
The Grudge has finally met its match dropping down to number three at the box office during its third week of release. The CGI animated family film The Incredibles dominated the box office earning over $70 million in its first week of release. The critically acclaimed biopic Ray, starring Jamie Foxx also succeeded over The Grudge, taking the number two spot and adding $39.8 million to its earnings.
The Lions Gate thriller Saw and Paramount's Alfie also faired well this weekend, rounding off the top five at numbers four and five respectively. Mainstays in the top ten included Shall We Dance? at number six, Shark Tale at seven, Friday Night Lights at eight, Ladder 49 at nine and Team America: World Police at 10.
