Indiana Jones and Ally McBeal to Wed

Two Hollywood icons have finally decided to tie the knot. Harrison Ford has popped the question to girlfriend Calista Flockhart.

According to Reuters, "Movie star Harrison Ford, 66, and his longtime girlfriend, actress Calista Flockhart, 44, became engaged after he proposed marriage to her over the Valentine's Day weekend, People magazine reported on Saturday."

It seems that Ford surprised Flockhart with an engagement ring while the pair was on vacation with their adopted son, Liam.

Ford and Flockhart have been together for 7½ years. This will be his third marriage and her first. A wedding date has yet to be set.

According to eonline.com, "He [Ford] has two sons, Benjamin and Willard, from his first marriage to Mary Marquardt, and two children, Malcolm and Georgia, from his second marriage to screenwriter Melissa Mathison. He also has three grandchildren."

Ford is well-known in Hollywood for cranking out multi-million dollar blockbuster movies. His most popular roles consist of playing space hero Han Solo in the "Star Wars" movies as well as the rugged adventurer with a twinkle in his eye, Indiana Jones, in the Raiders of the Lost Ark and its sequels. Flockhart is best known for playing the title role on the David E. Kelley series, Ally McBeal, that aired from 1997 to 2002 which was about the lives and loves of the lawyers at the fictional Boston law firm of Cage, Fish & Associates. She now plays the role of Sally Field's disagreeing daughter, Kitty Walker on the ABC drama, Brothers & Sisters.
