Indiana Jones's 'Kingdom' has early visitors
While the latest Indiana Jones film, titled 'Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,' is not expected to debut until May 22, that has not prevented film reviewers from observing the film prematurely.
Steven Spielberg, the film's director, planned to keep the film out of the public's eyes to build audience anticipation; in fact, it has yet to be present at the Cannes Film Festival which will take place on May 18.
News sources have already published reviews, and the responses thus far have been less than satisfactory.
Aintitcoolnews.com published a review from a poster known as 'Shogunmaster' which said "This is the Indiana Jones film that you have been dreading."
Accounts like this are not favorable to Spielberg's cause, as he has been careful to monitor every aspect of the film's marketing campaign to make sure events like this do not occur.
The film is set to debut on May 22, and it stars series stalwart Harrison Ford. Shia Lebeouf of Transformers fame and Cate Blanchett will also appear.
