The Inner Workings of Vogue Editor Anna Wintour

R.J. Cutler films documentary about "The Devil Wears Prada" inspiration Anna Wintour.

Vogue's own devil, Anna Wintour, not only wears Prada but couture black shades as well.

Wintour is the star of R.J. Cutler's documentary "The September Issue." This film follows the head honcho of Vogue as she puts together the September 2007 issue.

Cutler captures Wintour in and around the office, always in business mode. She is all for decisions that will only help to better her business and will not hesitate to reject those that won't. "Where's the glamour? These are all horrible," she told one employee according to MTV.com.

Although she may come across as cutthroat at times, Cutler makes sure to reinforce how hard Wintour works for her company and family. There are points in the film where she shows a bit of insecurity in the idea that her family doesn't take her work in fashion seriously. Cutler tells ABC News "It is ironic that Anna Wintour, who is revered and feared and admired, imagines that she isn't taken seriously by the people who she most wants to be taken seriously by."
