Investigation and Speculations continue on Rihanna and Chris Brown case

As the puzzle about what happened between Rihanna and Chris Brown continues to be put together, E! News reports that Rihanna is cooperating with the investigation and reported that Brown threatened to kill her.

According to E! News, a source told them that the threat came after the "Disturbia" singer threw out the keys of the silver Lamborghini they were in. Brown tried to choke her, subsequently causing Rihanna to lose consciousness. When she regained consciousness, Brown had left the scene.

The singer is said to have visible bruises, bite marks, and a black eye.

What triggered the attack is not clear yet, but the New York Daily News reports that the fight started when Brown received a text from another woman.

According to an unnamed source in the music business, they quoted the source as saying, "He got a booty call. He got a text. Rihanna saw it and she got upset. They started to argue. She got out of the car. He wanted her to get back in, so he grabbed her. She pulled away. That's when she's told people he hit her."

The source went on to say that Brown has been trying to contact Rihanna, but that she refuses to take his calls.

Rihanna's grandmother, Clara Brathwaite told the Barbadian "Daily Nation" that Rihanna is "fine" and "doing well." She also shut down any rumors of Rihanna having a broken nose.

Both stars have cancelled upcoming appearances since the incident.
