Isaac Hayes on That 70's Show

Fox announced Monday that R&B soul singer and actor Isaac Hayes will guest star on "That 70's Show." Hayes, most notable for singing the theme song for the original 1971 movie, "Shaft," will begin shooting the episode next week. It is scheduled to air next spring.

In the episode, Fez, played by Wilmer Valderrama, wants to be more hip. While working at the beauty salon, he has a fantasy in which Hayes appears and performs a musical number.

Hayes is returning back to the 70s generation that initially put him on the map. However, today's generation would know him best as the voice of Chef on Comedy Central's "South Park."

"That 70's Show" airs on Wednesday nights at 8pm (EST).
