Michael Jackson continues his posthumous reign as the King of Pop with his new movie This Is It premiering this week as well as an album debuting with it. According to Reuters, Michael Jackson's latest album is well on its way to becoming number one on the Billboard list.
This Is It was released on Monday, and it is already racking up sales. This isn't Jackson's only success this year. Number Ones is this year's best-selling album (2.2 million so far), Thriller is the 11th best-seller, and The Essential Michael Jackson is the 15th best.
The new album has 14 studio recordings of Jackson's past hits, two versions of the song "This Is It," three demo recordings, and a spoken poem called "Planet Earth."
