Courtney Love told a Los Angeles court Friday, that she "feel[s] great," is spending her time playing guitar ahd has "put a very gnarly drug problem behind [her]."

In response Judge Rand Rubin complimented Love for her progress in drug treatment and released her from house arrest.To add to Love's ongoing clean and sober progress, she told Rollingstone.com that she recorded some new songs with ex-Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan. Among the tunes: "How Dirty Girls Get Clean."Which the widow of Nirvana icon Kurt Cobain, knows something about, after her personal troubles started to mount, spending much of 2003 through 2005 in and out of courtrooms' for drug related charges.Now, Love is ready for a fresh start."I feel like I'm getting my creativity back," Love said in court.Friday's ruling declared that Love must continue counseling, submit to twice weekly random drug tests. Love is due back in court on May 12.
