It's Back to Rehab for Redmond O'Neal
Almost a month after being arrested with his father, Ryan O'Neal, under suspicion of drug possession, Redmond O'Neal was back in court Wednesday and ordered back into detox, reports the Associated Press.
Judge Scott Millington gave the order for him to attend a two-week detox program after court records show Redmond as admitting to having relapsed.
There are reportedly no formal charges against either O'Neal after their Sep. 17 arrest when deputies, as part of Redmond's probation, searched their home and found drugs on both Redmond and in the living area belonging to Ryan.
The drugs didn't belong to O'Neal senior, says an attorney for Ryan, who denies that any of the drugs found belonged to his client.
The court appearance for the parole violation marked the second run-in with the law for the actor's 23-year-old son as Redmond holds a previous drug conviction from just months earlier.
In June, Redmond pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and methamphetamine and was sentenced to three years probation.
