It's a No Go on "Rosemary's Baby" Remake
Producers are no longer doing a remake.
Plans for a remake of the 1968 classic, Rosemary's Baby, have been halted, according to IMDb.com.
Movie producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form had been working on getting the film made, but ultimately they could not come up with the material.
Form tells Collider.com, "We went down that road and we even talked to the best writers in town and it feels like it might not be do-able. We couldn't come up with something where it felt like it was relevant and we could add something to it other than what it was, so we're now not going to be doing that film."
Are remakes even necessary, anyway?
