It's Official: Kristin Cavallari Will Join the Cast of "The Hills"

Kristin Cavallari, 22, is scheduled to appear as the show's main focus for 10 episodes this fall in the series' sixth season and says she is ready to stir up some drama.

"It's a TV show," she told Entertainment Weekly. "I'm not going into it like 'I'm going to make great friendships with these people.' It's work! And drama sells. I think that's why they're bringing me in, because I know what works."

Cavallari says she is different from Conrad in many ways and will therefore bring a new energy to the show.

"I'm a completely different person than Lauren," she said. "I have a lot more energy. I'm more outgoing. I'm a little more spontaneous."

Cavallari's first appearance on The Hills will be on the May 31 season finale when she catches the bouquet at Heidi and Spencer's wedding.

Conrad decided to leave the show to lead a more private life.
