Iverson Considering Retirement?

Memphis Grizzlies guard Allen Iverson, who is said to be unhappy about his role as a bench player, is considering retirement, reports theMiami Herald.

Iverson has come off the bench in the three games he has played for the Grizzlies this season, averaging 12.3 points per game and just 22 minutes per game.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Michael Heisley, owner of the Memphis Grizzlies, has denied rumors that Iverson is retiring, stating that the former NBA MVP's absence from the team is for a separate personal matter.
