Jack Black to Appear on "The Office"

Jack Black is set to guest star on an hour-long February episode of the NBC sitcom, The Office.

Black will appear in an episode called "Stress Relief," which will air after the Super Bowl on February 1. In the episode, the office employees will attempt to watch a bootleg copy of a Hollywood movie at work. Though NBC did not say what role Black would play in the story, a press release from the network said that Black and "other notable Hollywood actors" would act in the fictional movie.

Black doesn't boast lengthy TV credentials, but he's not treading on completely foreign territory. He lent his voice to an episode of The Simpsons in 2007, and did a guest spot on The Naked Trucker and T-Bones Show that same year. Further back, he also appeared on Will & Grace and The X-Files.
