Jackman Places Hands and Feet in Cement

Actor Hugh Jackman gets to imprint his hands and feet in cement outside of Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.

Aussie Hugh Jackman of the upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie was praised at a ceremony outside the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. Just like Hollywood stars from generations before (i.e. Clark Gable, Doris Day, Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe and Bing Crosby), Jackman got to place his hands and feet in cement on April 21.

Similar celebrations at the theater, which is adjacent to the Kodak Theatre (where the annual Oscars ceremony is held), have been held in the theatre's iconic forecourt for the past 70 years, according to WA Today.

"I have to tell you," said Jackman to roughly 500 gatherers. "It means the world to me to be here."

Jackman, the husband of Deborra-Lee Furness and father of two, said he was very humbled to be amongst the actors and actresses who've already been immortalized.

In Jackman's new film, he seeks revenge against his brother, Victor Creed.
