Jackson To Be Laid to Rest in Fairytale Fashion
At the Neverland Ranch, Michael Jackson never had to grow up.
In his self-owned, 2,500 acre amusement park, Jackson wallowed in a fantasy world where he could forget the adult responsibilities of maintaining an extraordinary career, a burden that his father had plagued on him as a child since his start as a member of the Jackson 5.
Now, Jackson can remain forever young in spirit.
According to BBC.com, there have been various unconfirmed reports suggesting that Jackson will be laid to rest in a glass coffin and be shipped to Neverland.
Adding to the somewhat magical aura of the ranch, Jackson will reportedly be transported via a "fairytale carriage." A spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol said "details are still pending."
The ranch, which is located 150 miles north of Los Angeles, has seen a large influx of people and vehicles oscillate between going in and out of the property.
Jackson first bought the ranch in 1987. Since 2005, the property has remained vacant.
The singer's death could breathe a new life for Jackson's million-dollar playground.
There are discussions of the possibility of Neverland being turned into a tourist attraction similar to Elvis Presley's Graceland in Memphis.
Sources claim that on Friday a viewing will be made available to the public. The funeral itself will be held on Sunday.
