The King of Pop was finally laid to rest 8 days ago in a Los Angeles suburb. The death of Michael Jackson on June 25, 2009 shook the world this summer, and the popular entertainer won't soon be forgotten.

La Toya, his older sister, described Jackson as looking "absolutely fabulous" before he was buried. Along with full make-up, Jackson was dressed in white pearl beads, a large gold belt, and some of his famous accessories were buried with him.

The night before the memorial, Paris placed some stones on her father's chest, and before he was laid to rest, members of the Jackson family placed on his sunglasses, one of his iconic white sequined gloves, and a put a few other personal effects in the casket as well.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's office has ruled Jackson's death a homicide, and police are further investigating his death. Doctors who prescribed the performer's narcotics have been questioned.

His three children, Prince Michael I, Paris, and Prince Michael II (aka "Blanket") are undergoing grief counseling, but La Toya says they are not allowed to watch any television surrounding any speculation on their father's death, in order to protect them from any further emotional trauma.
