Jackson Could be Released From Hospital Today
Michael rushed to emergency room yesterday with flu-like symptoms
Michael Jackson remains hospitalized after being rushed to a Santa Maria, California hospital before his pre-trial jury selection court date. Jackson is suffering from flu-like symptoms and required an IV when admitted to Santa Maria Marian Medical Center yesterday after vomiting in the car en route to the courthouse. Though expected to be released today, Jackson could spend one more day in the hospital under observation. Officials worry that the large amount of stress Jackson is under could impede the recovery process. Outside the hospital some 50 fans are keeping vigil for the singer hoping for a speedy recovery. Judge Rodney Melville has postponed Jackson's child molestation trial until next week.
