Jackson Denies Rumors
It all started on Friday in the studios of New York City radio station, Hot 97. Young DeBarge, younger brother of Janet Jackson's ex-husband James DeBarge, was in New York to promote his debut album. During the interview, Jackson's former brother-in-law, brought rumors that have cropped up in the past, to the surface once again. He claims that Jackson and his brother, former singer of the 80's R&B family group, DeBarge, have an 18 year-old daughter named Renee. According to sources, the mystery daughter was raised by Jackson's sister Rebbie.
Jackson remained silent until Wednesday when she released a statement denying Young DeBarge's claim. She said, "I do not have a child, and all allegations saying so are false."
While not impossible, the timing is at least illogical. Daughter Renee would have to have been born circa 1987, two years after Jackson annulled her short-lived marriage to DeBarge.
