Jackson Not The Father of His Children
Michael Jackson was not the biological father of any of his three children, TMZ.com reported Tuesday.
Jackson's children were all conceived in vitro with sperm from unknown donors. Debbie Rowe is also reportedly not the biological mother of the two eldest children she carried, "Prince" Michael Joseph Jr., 12, and Paris Michael Katherine, 11. Rowe simply acted as a surrogate and was paid a great deal for her services.
Jackson's third and youngest child, Prince (Blanket) Michael II, 7, was carried by a surrogate mother who never knew the identity of the receiving parent. Three days after the baby was born at a hospital in San Diego, Jackson's lawyer picked him up and delivered him to Jackson.
According to the Daily News, this new information, if true, will complicate the issue of who gets custody of the three children Jackson raised. Jackson's mother won temporary guardianship of the late singer's children and control of his estate as the legal battle continues.
It was also revealed on Tuesday that Jackson drafted a will in 2002 that cuts out his father and divides his estate among his mother, three children and charity. The will could be submitted to Los Angeles Superior Court as soon as Thursday in an effort to sort out Jackson's finances.
