Jackson's Defense Rests but the Show Ain't Over

It's now time for the prosecution's rebuttal

Michael Jackson's defense rested after three weeks of consistently trying to show the accuser's family as conniving, and the mother's history of fraud and deceit as a reason to dig up money from the rich pop star. Fifty witnesses including Macaulay Culkin, Jay Leno, and Chris Tucker took the stand, but the main man himself remained in his seat because it would undermine the defense strategy if he spoke. "According to the defense, Michael Jackson is childlike and innocent," said legal analyst Craig Smith. "His motivation for sleeping with young boys is non-sexual and that it's pure." Prosecutors are now in the process of putting on their rebuttal case to counter the claims made by their opponents.
