Jaclyn Smith refutes the rumor that she is in the hospital or dead.



A rumor was started that Jaclyn Smith attempted suicide, saying Smith endured a self inflicted gunshot wound to her head at her vacation house in Islas de la Bahia in Honduras.

Fuel for the rumor happened earlier this afternoon when Perez Hilton blogged about the accident from an unsourced article.

One of Smith's representatives, Jay Schwartz, told EW, "Totally untrue. I spoke to her this morning and she is fine. Perez did not confirm the item with me."

Actress Jaclyn Smith also went to her Facebook pages and Twitter to set the record straight about the rumor.

The story written in a Honduras newspaper was about Sandra Franklin who was Smith's stunt double for "Charlie's Angels." Right now, Web reports say that Franklin was airlifted to a hospital in San Pedro Sula. Details about the "Charlie's Angels" stunt double Sandra Franklin are unknown as of now.
