Jakob Dylan Goes Solo Sans The Wallflowers
Jakob Dylan Set To Release First Solo Work In May
Musician Jakob Dylan, son of Bob Dylan, is set to embark on a solo career.
NME reports Dylan, the former lead singer of The Wallflowers, will release his debut solo album Seeing Things on May 13. Produced by music pioneer Rick Rubin, the album will chiefly be an acoustic album.
His former band, The Wallflowers, earned their most commercial success with the release of album Bringing Down the Horse in 1996. The album spawned hit singles, "One Headlight," and "Sixth Avenue Heartache."
Dylan's forthcoming album will be released on Columbia Records, and a headlining tour will follow in support of the new release.
