James Bond and Wolverine on Broadway

Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman to star in a play together

One is best known for his performances as the newest James Bond, and the other as Marvel Comics' angry young man – Wolverine. Together, they star in Keith Huff's "A Steady Rain," a play about two cops, whose lifelong friendship is put under strain by a case they encounter while on duty.

Jack has previously starred in and won a Tony Award in 2004 for "The Boy from Oz" in which he played the role of singer/ songwriter Peter Allen. This will be Craig's first performance on Broadway.

The play will mostly debut on Broadway in the Fall of 2009, and will likely perform well, since both Jackman and Craig are Hollywood box-office draws.

Barbara Broccoli, who also oversees the James Bond movie franchise, is producing "A Steady Rain". The playwright Keith Huff is very well respected in Broadway circles – he has received the Cunningham Prize, the John Gassner Award, the Berrilla Kerr Award, and three Illinois Arts Council Playwriting Fellowships.
