Jamie Lynn Reportedly Sends Baby Gifts to Bristol Palin
According to a report on CelebTV.com (which, we must remind you, is not the New York Times), Jamie Lynn Spears has sent a present to the pregnant 17-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin. Palin, of course, was John McCain's pick for vice presidential running mate last week.
Jamie Lynn, however, did not actually order the gift, the Web site reports. It was her mother, Lynne Spears, who called in the gift to baby store Petit Tresor, which is located in Beverly Hills.
"It was ordered by phone, and they asked what could be done for under $100," the source said. "They (the Spearses) spent $60 on pink burp cloths."
Jamie Lynn Spears made a great deal of news earlier in the year when she announced that she was pregnant. The reason for the uproar, other than the fact that she is the 17-year-old sister of Britney, is that she stars in a popular Nickelodeon kids show called Zoey 101.
Spears gave birth to a daughter, Maddie Briann, in June. She's currently engaged to Casey Aldridge, who has been thrust into the limelight as a result of his relationship with the young star.
Palin announced on the campaign trail Monday that her 17-year-old, unmarried daughter is five-months pregnant.
