Jan Murray dies at 89
Longtime comedian died after battle with numerous diseases
Jan Murray, a member of the Comic Rat Pack along with Jerry Lewis, Sid Caesar and Milton Berle, died at 89.
"He was a person who fully loved his life and wanted to continue as long as he could," his son told the Associated Press.
Murray's health had been getting worse as he suffered from emphysema, heart problems and pneumonia. Murray died at his home Sunday.
Murray had appeared in dozens of movies including; "Treasure Hunt" and "Dollar a Second." He also guest hosted "The Tonight Show" on several occasions.
