Janet Continues to Cancel Shows

Singer and performer Janet Jackson canceled Monday night's show due to her doctor's orders.

It seems like the show may not go on. After weeks of dealing with a mysterious illness, singer and performer Janet Jackson has canceled yet another concert, according to the Associated Press.

Jackson was to resume her "Rock Witchu" tour Monday night with a performance at the Turning Stone Resort in New York, though messages on the resort's Web site said the performance had been canceled due to the orders of Jackson's doctors.

Jackson has canceled her performances since Sept. 29, when the star was scheduled to perform in Montreal. During the sound check, Jackson was whisked away to a nearby hospital for reasons undisclosed to the public.

Though promoters have promised that the star would return to her tour with speed, it has been two weeks of no-show from the singer.

Ticketholders have been assured the concerts will be rescheduled and refunds will be issued to any ticketholders who cannot attend the rescheduled performance.

The "Rock Witchu" tour is Jackson's first North American tour in seven years.
