Jared Leto will appear on "Desperate Housewives" next season as a grocery store clerk who catches Gabrielle's (Eva Longoria's) eye, Ananova.com reported.
Leto is currently whipping himself back into shape after gaining 30+ pounds for his latest movie "Chapter 27," in which he plays John Lennon's killer Mark David Chapman. After his breakout role on short-lived television series "My So-Called Life," Leto has taken roles in small but critically acclaimed movies like "Requiem for a Dream" and "Girl, Interrupted," as well as starring as Colin Farrell's childhood friend and forbidden love in Oliver Stone's "Alexander."
