Jason Alexander Not Cited for Auto-Bicycle Accident
Unlike George Costanza, his neurotic Seinfeld counterpart, when Jason Alexander does wrong, he tries to make right. Which most likely played a factor in why the actor was not cited for hitting a bicycling boy with his car earlier Tuesday.
The Associated Press reports that Alexander hit the 14-year-old boy, who was on his way to middle school on his bicycle, at 7:15 a.m. in the Los Angeles mid-city area, according to city spokeswoman Norma Eisenman. No details other than the boy was in stable condition when he was at the hospital for an examination are available at this time.
Alexander was not given a police citation for the incident.
Alexander's publicist, Ron Hofmann, stated, according to Canoe: "Jason stayed with the cyclist until the paramedics and police arrived and all indications are that the injury was minor."
Hofmann further states that Alexander is grateful that the boy's injuries were minor.
