Jay-Z releases new song
The song "Run This Town" from the new album made its debut today.
On July 24th, at exactly 9:11 am, the new Jay-Z single "Run This Town," made its national radio debut. Jay-Z himself requested that the song, a track from his new CD, "The Blueprint 3," be played for fans.
The song features both Kanye West and Rihanna. Interestingly enough, this will be her first work since her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, assaulted her in February. On the song, Jay-Z spits orders, commanding his legion of hip-hop fans to dress in all black, and pledge allegiance to Roc-Nation, while Rihanna, singing the chorus, wants to know who is running this town. Soon she remembers that "We gonna run this town." Previously, Jay has released one other song, "D.O.A" from the album, which is scheduled for release on Sept. 7.
