Oakland Raiders v Seattle Seahawks

ESPN reports that free agent quarterback Jeff Garcia criticized his former team, the Oakland Raiders, and former teammate, quarterback JaMarcus Russell on Fox Sports Radio on Friday. The Raiders cut Garcia from their roster earlier this season. More recently, he was signed and released by the Philadelphia Eagles.

According to USA Today, Garcia asked out of Oakland at the start of the season because "he didn't feel like everyone on the team wanted to win." He also said he wanted to be the starting quarterback to assist JaMarcus Russell, who is currently completing less than 50 percent of his passes.

The San Jose Mercury News states that Garcia left Oakland on Sept. 5 without offering an explanation as to why he left the club. The Raiders go on the road to face the Houston Texans on Sunday.
