Jeff Goldblum Replaces Chris Noth on "Law and Order"
Noth leaves franchise for a second time.
Jeff Goldblum, perhaps most well-known for his role in the film, Jurassic Park, will join the cast of Law and Order: Criminal Intent next fall, the New York Daily News reports.
Chris Noth, who played Detective Mike Logan on the series, will not return, with rumors that negotiations between Noth and the USA network broke down. It is the second time that Noth has left the Law and Order franchise. He first left in 1995 when series creator Dick Wolf wanted the show to go in a new direction, and joined the cast of Intent in 2005.
Goldblum's most recent television appearance was in the NBC series, Raines, a drama which only lasted seven episodes.
