Jeff Zucker is Bombarded by Insulting Tweets

As NBC Universal closes it's deal with Comcast, Jeff Zucker closes the door on his 24-year career with the network, The Hollywood Reporter describes. The chief executive of NBC Universal announced that his decision to leave was extremely difficult, mainly because he had spent his "entire adult life" at NBC.

Zucker, who is "the network's longest serving executive," does not yet know his future plans. He never contemplated working anywhere else besides NBC, so his next move will definitely be an interesting one.

And although Zucker is sad to be leaving a network he loves so much, there are many who are not unhappy to see him go. Modern Family producer Danny Zuker recently tweeted, "Jeff Zucker weighing options. He's had many offers but not sure which company he will destroy next."

A writer of The Daily Show, Tim Carvell, had similar comedic sentiments, tweeting, "Great news! I just got my tickets for Jeff Zucker's 'Legally Prohibited From Running a TV Network Tour.'"

Ouch, but the truth hurts.
