Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are expecting their third child together.
The couple, who have been married since 2005, said in a brief joint statement to The Associated Press that they are “thrilled” to be expecting again.
Garner and Affleck, both 39, have two daughters, Violet, 5, and Seraphina, 2, and according to an Us Weekly source, this is what Garner always wanted.
"She's always wanted three kids," a source told the magazine. "This was her plan all along."
Garner admitted that she and Affleck, as parents of two, are hands-on parents, but it could get tough at times.
"[I] feel like half my brain is somewhere else all the time, but when the camera's rolling, I pull it together and focus for two minutes," she told People of balancing motherhood and work after the birth of her daughter, Seraphina, in 2009. "And then I kind of turn back to a ditz again. I have a split personality."
But Garner says she balances her “split personality” with support from her husband and a “great nanny.”
"We figure it out day by day,” she told Us Weekly earlier this year. “ It's always messy and it's never as glamorous as people think it is, but we get through, and as long as the kids are happy, it's all good."
There is no word on how long Garner is in her pregnancy as of yet.
