Singer/actress Jennifer Hudson has publicly spoken for the first time since the triple-murder of her mother, brother and nephew in Chicago.
Hudson used her MySpace blog to thank everyone for their prayers, thoughtful comments and support during a time that no one should have to go through.
"I want to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time," she wrote. "My sister and I take great comfort and strength from your love and concern."
There still has not been an arrest made in the case, but the Chicago Police Department has at least one suspect in custody.
