Jennifer Lopez, is set to launch her new perfume, Glowing. Her new scent, which is her 18th fragrance, is a take off of her 2002 perfume, Glow. To mark the 18th scent created by the perfumer, Lopez is taking it all off in the perfume’s ad.
The 42-year-old mother of two is seen posing naked, while sitting on the floor covered in oil with soaking wet hair. She sits in the middle of a glowing orb, which is intended to match the perfume bottle that also glows.
After ten years of creating fragrances, Lopez and the senior vice president of American fragrances for Coty Prestige, Catherine Walsh, wanted to “break all the boundaries.”
“Glowing is such a clean fragrance. That’s what I’ve always been about,” Lopez told WWD. “At the essence, it’s still natural, earthy, clean, and real, but a little different side of that. It’s the woodsy side of it, which I think is kind of New York-y, darker and sexier.”
According to WWD, Glowing will contain the best of bergamot, mandarin, cypress, orange and flower, vanilla and cashmere musk. The perfume will be sold in three sizes. The 1.7 ounce and 2.5 ounce size bottles will light up for 15 seconds if the atomizer is pressed. The fragrance will also be available in body lotion.
E! News reports that Lopez’s new fragrance and ad will launch in the United States in May and will be available to purchase only in Kohl’s stores.
