Jennifer Lopez reveals lessons she's learned from relationships

Jennifer Lopez is gorgeous on the cover of Glamour's December issue, but it's the information she reveals inside that is interesting.

E! News reported J.Lo dishes about several aspects of her love life to the mag.

When asked about the end of her seven year marriage to Marc Anthony, the 42-year-old said, "I think I've finally learned the biggest lesson of all."

"You've got to love yourself first. You've got to be OK on your own before you're OK with someone else. You've got to value yourself and know that you're worth everything."

She added that "you can't have a healthy relationship" until "you value yourself."

And although she didn't confirm her relationship with Bradley Cooper, she said the next time she's in a relationship she wants it to be "out of the public eye."

People reported Lopez also plans on thickening her skin for the next season of American Idol.

"We're a little tougher on everybody. Because of last season and the standard that we set, it's easy to go, 'Is he as good as even our top 24 from last year?'" she told the magazine.

Glamour's December issue hits stands November 8.
